Seven Acres Montessori is an independent school, offering AMI Montessori education in Fairfield County, Connecticut since 1964.

We are a family-oriented community deeply rooted in Montessori philosophy and practice and committed to Dr. Montessori’s vision of educating the whole child.  We serve children from 14 months or “walking”, (Toddler) through 14 years (completion of 8th grade).

Elementary Lead Teacher:

Seeking an experienced educator trained to lead students age 6 – 12 years old.
An AMI Diploma is required for this position along with strong communication skills, creativity, and enthusiasm!


Primary Lead Teacher:

Seeking an experienced educator trained to lead students age 3 - 6 years old.
An AMI Diploma is required for this position along with strong communication skills, creativity, and enthusiasm!


Middle School Science Teacher:

Seeking candidates for position of Middle School Science Teacher (part-time, reporting to Director of Middle School) for 23-24 academic year.

The individual in this position will be accountable for:
* Teaching a total of two classes in Earth Science to Middle School students in grades 7 and 8.
* Contributing to the life of the Middle School as a member of the faculty.
* Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree, and ideally 3-5 years of classroom teaching experience.  Click here for more information.


Assistant:

The Montessori classroom assistant is full-time and supports the needs of the students and classroom at the direction of the Lead Teacher.

Duties include maintaining clean, organized work spaces, ensuring the well-being of our students by proper supervision of academic/  social/emotional work, and caretaking of students. Experience working with young children preferable, additional training may be required.
